I mentioned this a touch on Listen To Brian's comments, but...

I FUCKING HATE YOU, FOX NEWS. Yeah, no big surprise there, right? But my hatred has reached new levels of repugnance and malevolence. It was one thing when they obviously had a right-wing slant and pandered to fear-mongering spins. That was annoying enough. But now? Now they're transmitting blatent racism and bigotry to people's living rooms on top of that.

Recently, Fox News featured guest Bo Dietl who called Islam a "johnny-come-lately religion" and said that Muslims pray to "someone who wants to kill you."

I KNOW.

And Neil, the bottom line is, this is a Johnny-come-lately religion. Christians and Jews have been around for 1600 years, 1500 years before. When they’re having a religion talking about killing people, I think we should reevaluate people who pray to someone who wants to kill you.

Are you fucking kidding me with that? First of all, Islam has been around since the 7th century, how's that for "Johnny-come-lately," asshole? Secondly, the whole "praying to someone who whants to kill you" thinkng? Couldn't be further from the truth. Like, I don't even know how to respond to that. That's like saying that puppies cause cancer. How do you argue with something so retarded and ubsurd? Third, if you want to talk about violent tendencies with religion, allow me to remind you of a point in history known as THE CRUSADES.

And then yesterday, Fox News guest Mike Gallagher showed new levels of dickishness:

GROSS: Don’t discriminate based upon race, creed, color, country of national origin.

GALLAGHER: Let’s have a Muslim-only line.

GROSS: What uniform you are wearing. What we want to do is look at behavior. We want to stop people who behave wrongly.

JERRICK: Michael, I think you missed a Mike Gallagher line there. What did you just say about different lines?

GALLAGHER: It’s time to have a Muslims check-point line in American airports and have Muslims be scrutinized. You better believe it. It’s time.

GROSS: Of course, your prejudice, which means to prejudge when you say Muslims or any people of any faith should be treated unequally because of their faith. You are absolutely wrong. Most Arabs are not Muslims. Most Muslims are not Arabs. You don’t have your facts straight. And Mr. Gallagher, how would you feel if we had a line for the Irish which English people were doing during the I.R.A. problems.

The best thing I can say about this is at least there was another guest there to present rational counterpoint to Gallagher's fucktard statements and call him on his racism.

Oh and also, they're laughing at dying Lebanese.
