Fringey
J.J. has started to post photos from the early days of the festival. Man, I can't say it enough: He takes amazing photos. I yearn for the ability to capture moments as rich and compelling as he does. Simply beautiful. It makes me sort of sad to think that this year might be his last working the festival. If that's true, Hunter, I think you should step in for him.

Speaking of fringe stuff and photos, I'm leaving work a little early today (since I got into the office at freakin' 6:30am, Christ) and headed into the city for the opening of Crazy Gary's Mobile Disco. I would LOVE to take my (beautiful, sweet, perfect) new camera into the city with me for some street photography both before and after the show, but the weather outside is pretty rainy and if you think I am going to take Iris out in that, you're nuts.

I've took Iris for a little test drive yesterday, just to get familiar with all her bells and whistles, doo-dads and settings. My first subject? Dill, of course. I'll post to Flickr shortly.

ETA: I just discovered in J.J.'s extended galleries (scroll alllll the way down to the bottom of the page I linked above) a series of photos with my brother who is helping out Brat Productions. Photos start here. Don't ask me why he is wearing scrubs. It's been a long week for him. I think he needs some sleep.
