Llama-llama-Ding-Dong
You guys. What is going on with this summer? It's seriously July already? I feel like great chunks of June whizzed right by me and I've been thrown violently into the next month. So much is going on, most things good and happy.

For starters, remember that play I was going to do? Murder! is back on, and yes, we're doing it in the Fringe Festival. Because clearly I am an insane person, with no sense of dignity or embarrassment. I have mixed feelings about this, mainly because I know the types of shows that usually are in the Fringe, and we...don't exactly fit. But on the other hand, I am really glad we're doing the show and already at auditions (oh goodness, remind me to tell you about auditions; what a bizarre and hilarious time that was) and initial readings we're all giggling and having a time. Plus, I get to wear that dress again! And my new Jackson is someone I don't mind cuddling up to, NOT AT ALL, thank you. Pity he has a girlfriend in real life.

All of this means that my August and September are filled with rehearsals and shows. If you want to mark your calendars for this nonsense, here you go: September 4, 5, 11, 12 at 7:30 and September 6 at 3:00. All performances at Chestnut Hill College, in the Gruber Auditorium. Come see me make a complete ninny out of myself!

Also happening is photography! I've been photographing things for the Doc, I have three rolls of film from my Holga waiting to get developed, I just ordered 3 rolls of the soon-to-be-defunct Kodachrome film, come tomorrow night I'm photographing Jamil as he spins at Tattooed Mom's (you should come!), and Friday I'm taking photos for the new Dark Side Theater Company. Phew.

Speaking of photos, here are some photos of llamas and alpacas from about a month ago:

Stephanie and a Llama consider each other

I love this picture so much. I love the way Stephanie and this llama are considering each other.

Moving on...

Work is actually... well, good. I've been pleasantly busy with projects and starting in a week or so I'm going to helping out with a new endeavor that – dare I say – I'm kind of excited and hopeful about. AND because my boss is the bestest, she got us all into a fancy schmancy design course at the end of the month. FIELD TRIP TO NEW YORK, you guys. I'm stoked.

I finally have a copy of DreamWeaver on my computer and soon I shall be chained to my desk making a pretty and functional new Inis Nua site. Hopefully one that doesn't look like it was made all craptastic-like, unlike the current site. I also anticipate helping create (or at least format) a new brochure for the next season.

2 family reunions are looming, cat-sitting and cousin-sitting are happening soon, I'm feeling crafty and inspired by fellow internet folk, QK is coming down soon to begin the moving in process(!), I'm trying to figure out if I can swing going on a trip to Bristol, Bath, and Glastonbury next March.

Basically the days are just packed. And to think, I foolishly believed that I would have all this free time now that grad school is over.
