Samhain

Samhain wasn't quite the intense, emotional experience it was for me last year. Part of that has to do with the way the ritual was run this time, and frankly I don't want to get into it. In any event, I was still able to look deep down and see what I want for the coming year, figure out what negative aspects of my emotions were blocking me and release some of them.

At one point, Hades guided us in meditation to see ourselves how we want to be. I saw myself as busy, rushing, challenged, creative, and exhilarated. In my vision, I was capable and confident. I was kicky, fun, happy and my life felt full of the best things.

So, impending international travel aside, I've been feeling a bit stagnant. Especially career-wise. I think it's time to stretch and push myself again. It's time to get going.
