And yet every other year they bitch about low voter turn out. GEE, I WONDER WHY? Maybe it's because you make us jump through 13 billion hoops just to cast a damn vote. Also, for God's sake, it's been 2 years or so since the last major election. We had problems then, did we work them out? Nooooo. Of course not. Because THAT WOULD MAKE SENSE.
I will not be surprised in the slightest if Republicans steal another fucking election because of this. Yeah, you heard me. Buying into the conspiracy theories and all.
Canada has the right idea, man. Give me a paper ballot, let me mark it and then stick it in a box. No muss, no fuss. I think that's why I like voting by absentee ballot so much. Because I am confident that a machine didn't fuck it up for me. Now, if only I could be sure that it would be counted...

I absolutely agree. Here's my experience: One line, the alphabet split into two groups and a women bellowing out "Anyone M through L????" And I stand there as I watch M through L's pass me by.
Solution: Split the damn alphabet into 3 groups and have 3 lines....DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps I'm biased since my mommy and daddy worked at the polls for many years but really you just have to have common sense, right??????
