Rugger Huggers
It's been a long, long time since I've photographed sports. Since my college Loquitur days, in fact, and I've forgotten how much it kind of sucks. Well, that's not true. It's just challenging, even more challenging if you don't have a telephoto lens. Which of course I don't, since I'm still looking for a sugar daddy. There's still time to get your applications in, guys!

Anyway. Rugby weekend? Pretty amazing:

There are our Media Rugby boys. Brian gave me the strict instructions to only cheer for them. They're all stand-up lads too, quite helpful and kind. The boys weren't in the tournament, only hosting, but managed to squeeze in an early game with Reading.

Rugby is kind of insane.

Um, ow.

Saturday night, a party was held at Kildare's -- which precious few Rugby players attended due to them being exhausted from a long day of playing -- and The Podunk Drifters played. With the exception of the guitar player, everyone else in the band is either a player or has a connection to a player in Media Rugby.

I sort of felt like I was cheating on The Machine Stops, since I've been photographing so much of them lately. Also, Kildare's: Get some better lighting. Man, I've had a hard time photographing in there, even when my cousin's played. But one photo came out perfect:

Beautiful Beer Shot

Mmmmmm, yes please.
