You are no match for the power of the card catalog!
One of my favorite writers both online and off, Pamie, has a book drive every year. This year she and Glark teamed up to create the Dewey Donation System. The goal? To help the Harrison County Library of Mississippi recover from Hurricane Katrina. Because as they put it, "Books and water don't mix."

This is obviously a cause close to my heart because 1) I love books and am a giant nerd, and 2) working at Library Place for so long taught me that libraries are one of the first things to get the shaft when it's time for budget cuts. Also, librarians are damn hard working.

I just donated 2 childrens books to the Pass Christian Library. It's not much, but it's something. Maybe you can do something too?

*For those not in the know, today's title comes from a short film the Dellavison boys made my sophomore year, Overdue.
