Thank you for being nothing short of lovely when I met you tonight. Sorry I couldn't think of anything particularly interesting to say other than to ask you half-heartedly about the philosophy degree you're in the process of getting and I'm sorry I bugged you for autographs (but you helped make two girls very happy). Basically, I'm sorry I'm a dork and wish I'd had enough nerve/sense/coolness to talk to you like a normal person. As it is, I'm just thankful I didn't make a total ass out of myself, like I normally do when I meet famous people.
Thanks again for taking time out of your schedule to come and hang out with a bunch of academics. You're rad.
