It is T-minus 14-hours and an counting until Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! I'm very excited!
It's interesting to be this excited for what is essentially a children's book, but damnit it's a fun kids book and I like it. Tonight I'm hanging out with some friends and picking up our copies at midnight and spending the evening like über dorks reading. I've never gone to a midnight release before, but Stephanie convinced me to go basically saying that this would me my last chance to experience such a thing and tempting me with promises of her delicious vegan snacks. She's trixie, that Stephanie.
In the meantime, keep mum if you know any spoilers (they are everywhere it seems, and also, screw you New York Times for publishing a review that gave away plot points two days early). I might say that I can't wait, but I in fact can and would like to.
